This Hawa Privacy Policy explains how Hawa (“Hawa” “we” “our”) handles any personal data we collect from visitors and users of our application-related services (collectively, the “Hawa Services”)

We value the privacy of our users and others who visit and use the Hawa Services (collectively or individually, “you” or “User”) and want you to be familiar with how we collect, use and disclose personal information from you.

When using the Hawa Services, you may share personal information. One example is when you provide information about yourself during the process of creating a Hawa account. Another example is when you take certain public or intentionally public actions on the Hawa Services, such as when you post content, post profile information, etc. Given the social nature of some of the Hawa Services, this information may be collected, used or disclosed by others participating in that social interaction. When we provide Hawa services, we will obtain your information in the following ways. Please note that we need certain types of information so that we can provide you with Hawa services.

You can change your information by editing your profile in the App, including accessing your information, correcting or updating your information or deleting your information.

9. Retention of Your Information



We will retain your Personal Information and other information for as long as you maintain your Hawa account.

You may request deletion of your account at any time through My > Settings > Account Management > Delete Account in the App or by emailing service@hawatalk.com.

Upon such request and appropriate review by us, we will delete data that is not required to be retained due to regulatory, tax, insurance, litigation or other legal requirements.

For example, we will retain location, device and usage data for as long as reasonably necessary; while retaining such data, we may also use it for safety, security, fraud prevention and detection, and research and development purposes.

In some cases, we may not be able to delete your account, for example, if there is a balance in the account or there are unresolved claims or disputes. Once we resolve the issue preventing deletion, we will delete the account as described above.

We may also retain certain information if necessary for safety, security and fraud prevention purposes. For example, if we deactivate a user account due to unsafe behavior or security incidents, we may retain certain information about that account to prevent that user from opening a new Hawa account in the future.


10. Changes and Updates to This Privacy Policy



We may modify or revise our Privacy Policy from time to time. Although we may attempt to notify you of significant changes to this Privacy Policy, you should periodically check the latest version of the Hawa Services to be aware of any changes, as they are binding on you.

If we make any changes to the Privacy Policy, the date of the change will be reflected in the “Last Updated Date”. By continuing to access or use the Services after those changes become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Privacy Policy.

How do I disable USE_FULL_SCREEN_INTENT?

To remove the USE_FULL_SCREEN_INTENT permission on Android 14, follow these steps:

1. Open your phone settings: Find and tap the phone's "Settings" icon on the home screen to enter the phone's settings page.

2. Go to application management: On the "Settings" page, find the "Applications" or "Application Manager" option and click it. This
will list all the applications you have installed on your phone.

3. Select an application: Find the application you want to remove the "USE_FULL_SCREEN_INTENT" permission from the application
list, and then tap the application to enter its application settings page.

4. Manage permissions: In the application settings page, find the "Permissions" option and click to enter. In the permissions list,
look for permissions related to full screen, which can be directly displayed as the "USE_FULL_SCREEN_INTENT" permission, or related
expressions such as "Show full screen notifications".

5. Disable permissions: Click the switch button next to the permission to disable it, and you can remove the
"USE_FULL_SCREEN_INTENT" permission for the application. Once turned off, the app will no longer be able to use full-screen
notifications.

It should be noted that turning off permissions for certain apps may affect the use of their normal functions. Before doing so, make sure you understand the impact of disabling this permission on the app.


2. Third parties

In order to conduct data statistics and anti-fraud measures, as well as to protect your account and transaction security, Hawa may integrate third-party SDKs such as Tongdun SDK. In order to provide users with a better chat, live broadcast and social experience, Hawa has also integrated Yunxin SDK, Agora SDK and Tencent Cloud Real-time Audio and Video SDK.
